High Fat Diet during Pregnancy Places you at Risk of Cancer

A high fat diet during pregnancy can increase your chances of getting breast cancer which may be then passed on for several generations, so say scientists. Pregnant women who eat junk food may unknowingly be risking the future health of not only their daughters but also their granddaughters. The American study, undertaken with rats, offers further evidence regarding environmental factors which can cause hereditary genetic changes.

There is a phenomenal message herein for humans that pregnant mums should stick to a healthy, well balanced diet . Otherwise, they can not only affect the health of their daughters, but also that of their grand daughters. Dr de Assis, study leader, presented the findings at the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research.
